✅ FAQ 1: What is the YES Fellowship?
A: The YES Fellowship (Youth Elevation Society) is a virtual leadership and impact program for youth ages 14-18. Fellows build real-world skills through creative projects, mentorship, and legacy-driven experiences.
✅ FAQ 2: Who is this program for?
A: This program is for Black and Brown youth who are curious, creative, and ready to grow. Whether your child loves STEM, storytelling, art, activism, or business — they’ll find a place to shine.
✅ FAQ 3: How long is the fellowship?
A: Each YES cohort runs for 12 weeks, with weekly live sessions and check-ins. Fellows also complete a legacy project at their own pace.
✅ FAQ 4: How much time will my child need to commit?
A: About 2–3 hours per week. This includes 1 live group session, optional 1:1 coaching, and time to work on their personal project.
✅ FAQ 5: Does my child need any special experience to apply?
A: No prior experience is required — just passion, openness, and a willingness to explore. We welcome learners of all backgrounds, including neurodiverse and homeschooled students.
✅ FAQ 6: Is there a cost to join?
A: There is no cost for accepted fellows. YES is fully funded by our donors and partners. We believe leadership and legacy should be accessible to all.

A: A typical week includes:

A: Yes! Fellows participate in a virtual Legacy Showcase where they present their projects to family, mentors, and special guests. It’s a celebration of voice, brilliance, and impact.
